NIBA Mark III goes live

Following an extensive review of it's systems, and a request for tender process, NIBA (the National Insurance Brokers Association) has decided to consolidate their systems around the 3rdgen platform.

The commmitment to continuing to use the 3rdgen platform (first deployed by the organisation in 2001), enabled NIBA to phase out an old-style archaic Windows based membership application - it's functionality has been consolidated into the Members area of the new Website.

In addition, NIBA has further consolidated and integrated it's databases:

  • The 3rdgen platform is fully integrated to an Intranet based Customer Relationship Management
  • 4 individual learning management solutions have been consolidated into one platform, fully integrated in 3rdgen
  • A variety of stand-alone functions have been taken over by the new platform
  • Event management, to table level allocation, is also managed via the Website

NIBA Mark III was released just prior to the organisation's 26th Annual Convention (Darwin 2008), also managed via 3rdgen!

Following it's initial release in 2001, the NIBA Website had already received a look&feel upgrade (Mark II) prior to the major revamp in September 2008.
